The final project in my web design course at San Francisco State University asked for the complete redesign of the website for an existing restaurant. Choosing to focus on Lori’s Diner – a popular restaurant throughout the Bay Area, this redesign provided a more contemporary representation of Lori’s whilst maintaining its ‘vintage’ aesthetic and trademark checker. The website was coded entirely from scratch including production of WordPress templates resulting in a dynamic website that displays and functions well across desktop, tablet and mobile devices including an easy to navigate dynamic menu.
