SkyTag was the result of numerous months of researching the gap in the market for autonomous luggage bag tags and scanning solutions. The SkyTag is highly customisable and utilises RFID technology to improve the passenger journey from start to end offering multiple levels of identification for passengers creating a more seamless journey for users. The customisable appearance of SkyTag allows passengers to quickly and easily identify their bag on the airport carousel whilst integrated RFID technology allows for the seamless transfer and tracking of bags by airlines. The tag is designed to have the plane face plate and straps swapped out for different colours and styles providing passengers with the opportunity to make sure their bag is visually different to others. SkyTag was exhibited at the iD13 exhibit and was judged amongst the best in show in a portfolio earning the Casey Hyun Industrial Design Graduate Award for 2013.
