Each school holidays, Event Cinemas, Greater Union, GU Film House and BCC Cinemas run a school holiday program. These projects call for the design of a comprehensive calendar of activities to showcase the complete offering over a 2-4 week period. These calendars have reached thousands of children nation-wide increasing customer patronage during the holiday period as well as successfully raising the profile of key film releases during that season. This Summer 2017 edition took on a playful aesthetic to maximise appeal to children coinciding with the release of the Trolls film. The Summer 2017 program was highly successful and was a significant contributor to driving revenue for the film and patronage throughout January 2017.
